The preformed concrete structures had suffered damage from water ingress, resulting in corroded reinforcing bars and spelled concrete. The integral gutters had failed in several areas and were totally ineffective. The appearance of the whole facade was also an issue.
To repair back to original detail and to protect against future attack. Also to recreate the drainage gutters. To improve the aesthetics by applying a long-life decorative coating.
The repairs were carried out using a lightweight polymer-based rebuilding system. The front and side elevations were then coated with a flexible, micro-porous system, for an attractive finish combined with protection against future water attack and damage.
